Ordering and payment
What do you sell exactly?
We sell shoelaces for all types of footwear, including sneakers, boots, ankle boots and dress shoes. You can choose from different lengths, colours, materials and finishes. All shoelaces are available in the shop.
Are all shoelaces in stock?
Yes. All shoelaces shown in our webshop are in stock and ready to ship. Unlike many other suppliers, we do not produce shoelaces to order. This allows us to ship immediately.
Which payment methods can I use?
You can pay using iDEAL, iDEAL in3, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, credit card (Visa, Maestro and MasterCard), Bancontact and bank transfer. All available payment options are shown in the checkout.
In which currency do I pay?
All prices in our webshop are listed in euros (EUR). If you are paying from abroad, your bank or payment provider may apply an exchange rate automatically.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Orders are processed immediately. Changes or cancellations are therefore usually not possible. If you notice a mistake right away, please contact us as soon as possible.
Can I change my shipping address after ordering?
In most cases this is not possible. However, if the shipment has not yet been registered with the carrier, we may be able to adjust the delivery address. Please contact us immediately.
Will I receive an invoice with my order?
Yes. You will automatically receive a digital invoice by email once your order has been shipped. You can also find your invoices in your account.
Shipping and delivery
When will my order be shipped?
If you place your order on business days before 16:00, your shoelaces are usually shipped the same day. Orders placed after 16:00 or during the weekend are shipped on the next business day.
What is the average delivery time in the Netherlands and abroad?
We ship worldwide. Delivery within the Netherlands and Belgium usually takes 1–2 business days. For destinations outside the Benelux, delivery typically takes 2–10 business days. Current delivery times per country can be found on the delivery page.
How are shipping costs calculated?
Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout based on the destination and shipping method. Orders over €50 are shipped free of charge.
Can I track my order with track & trace?
If you choose a shipping method with tracking, you will receive a track & trace code by email. Envelope shipments without tracking cannot be tracked, but in practice they almost always arrive.
When will I receive my tracking code?
You will receive your tracking code by email as soon as the carrier scans the shipment.
My envelope has not arrived yet, what should I do?
Envelope shipments may experience delays. Please wait up to 14 days within the Netherlands and up to 30 days internationally. If your order has still not arrived after this period, please contact us.
The tracking shows delivered, but I have not received anything. What can I do?
Because delivery drivers do not always scan letterbox shipments at the door, an envelope may be marked as delivered automatically. In most cases it will still be delivered later the same day or the next business day. If nothing has arrived after 72 hours, please contact us with your order number.
Do I have to pay customs fees for international orders?
Orders within the EU are free of customs charges. For orders outside the EU, import duties or VAT may be charged by local customs authorities. In practice, this rarely happens.
Pickup at the Veter store
Can I collect my order in person?
Yes. You can collect your order at our store in Apeldoorn. You will receive a notification once your shoelaces are ready for pickup.
Can I visit without an appointment?
Yes. Pickup is possible without an appointment during opening hours. For advice or larger orders, we recommend contacting us in advance.
What are your opening hours and address?
Watermanstraat 66, 7324 AK Apeldoorn. Opening hours: Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00.
How can I pay on location?
You can pay by card or via a payment request. Cash is also accepted, preferably with the exact amount.
Shoelaces and shoelace lengths
How are your shoelaces packaged?
Shoelaces are packaged compactly so they usually fit through the letterbox. We ship without a packing slip; your invoice is sent digitally.
Do shoelaces come as a set of two?
Yes. Shoelaces are always delivered as a set of two.
How do I choose the correct shoelace length?
The correct length depends on the type of shoe and the number of eyelets. Use the shoelace length size chart as a guideline.
Which shoelaces suit my shoes best?
Sneakers are often paired with flat or oval shoelaces. Dress shoes and boots usually use round shoelaces. Each product page indicates which type of shoe the shoelaces are best suited for. Feel free to contact us if you are unsure.
What if I am unsure about colour or shoelace type?
Send us a photo of your shoes and let us know the look you are aiming for. We will give you targeted advice on colour and shoelace type.

Can you customize shoelaces?
Yes. We can customise aglets and offer various customisation options. For business enquiries such as custom shoelaces or special finishes, please visit the businesses page.
Can you provide shoelace advice based on photos?
Yes. Based on photos, we can advise on the right shoelace length, type and colour.
Do you attend sneaker fairs or events?
Occasionally. Updates about events are shared via the website and our social channels.
Returns and exchanges
Can I return my shoelaces?
Yes. Unused shoelaces can be returned within the legal return period. The return form can be found on the returns page. Return shipping costs are at your own expense.
Which shoelaces are excluded from returns?
Custom-made and personalised shoelaces cannot be returned.
How do I return shoelaces?

How can I exchange shoelaces for a different length or colour?
Please contact us or use the return form on the returns page. We will advise you on the fastest solution.
How quickly will I receive my refund?
After receiving and inspecting your return, the amount will be refunded to the original payment method within a few business days.
Warranty and support
Do shoelaces come with a warranty?
Yes. In case of a manufacturing defect, we will resolve this properly. Normal wear and tear is not covered by warranty.
What should I do if I received a defective or incorrect shoelace?
Please contact us with your order number and include clear photos. We will provide an appropriate solution.
