Edea laces for ice skates
Edea makes premium ice skates with a high, stiff boot that must maximally fix the ankle during jumps and spins. Waxed flat laces are the standard: the wax coating provides the grip in the knot needed to absorb the enormous forces during landings. Start with 180 cm — for the tallest Edea boots a longer lace may be required. Pull each eyelet tightly from bottom to top for even tension across the full shaft. The requirements are comparable to other skate laces.
