Outdoor laces: built for terrain and metal hooks

Outdoor laces are round laces with a denser, tougher weave than Basic Round Laces. They withstand the abrasion from metal hooks, contact with rocks and exposure to moisture that comes with hiking and outdoor use. Choose 120 cm for low trail shoes, 140 cm for mid-height Hiking Boots and 160 cm for high Mountain Boots. The polyester material resists moisture and dries quickly. Recommended for brands like Lowa, Hanwag and Meindl.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference with regular round laces?

Outdoor laces have a denser weave that resists abrasion better. Standard round laces wear faster through metal hooks.

What length for hiking boots?

120 cm for low trail shoes, 140 cm for mid-height and 160 cm for high mountain boots with full shaft closure.

Are outdoor laces moisture-resistant?

The polyester does not absorb water and dries quickly. For extra moisture protection, consider Waxed Round Laces.
