Milky white round wax laces are a touch softer in tone than bright white. That keeps them from clashing with cream, off white or yellowed leather, which is exactly where bright white goes wrong. The wax seals the cotton so dust and moisture are slower to soak in, which is what a light lace needs. Other shades are in the waxed round laces.
