Waxed Round Laces – Navy

Navy round wax laces are dark enough for formal shoes, yet less severe than black. On dark brown leather navy gives a subtle contrast, on blue suede or denim-like materials the colour blends in instead. Usage and care

Navy is a strong choice on blue suede, grey leather and dark brown boots. Choose 80 cm for 3 to 4 eyelets per side, 100 cm for 4 to 5 eyelets and 120 cm for 5 to 6 eyelets. If a lot of length is left over after tying, you are one size too long. A lace that is too short pulls the eyelets out of line, so round up when in doubt.

In daylight the blue is clear, under artificial light navy moves closer to black. If you want true black, choose black.

Which length do I need?

Are these laces suitable for sneakers?

Yes, provided the eyelets take a 3 mm round lace. On models with narrow eyelets a round lace threads more easily than a flat one.

What if the lace stretches over time?

The polyester core limits stretch. Cotton without a core gives far more.
